We are members of some key networks in the Fair Trade field, at a global and European level.
This provides us with guidance for our actions and gives us the opportunity to share our values with other organizations like ours that are committed to trade and cooperation to turn the market around.
WFTO
We are a member of WFTO, the World Fair Trade Organization.
Unlike commodity certifiers, WFTO’s assurance system evaluates the entire company, not just a specific product, ingredient, or supply chain. The assessment covers the entire structure and business model, its operations and its supply chains.
The WFTO principles guide our actions as a Fair Trade organization, but also for our products. We have chosen to put the WFTO guarantee stamp on each of them to ensure compliance with international fair trade standards and constant and careful monitoring of our work.
EQUO GARANTITO
We are members of Equo Garantito, the Italian General Assembly of Fair Trade, which periodically monitors (as part of a guarantee system certified by an independent third party) compliance with the Italian Charter of Fair Trade Criteria and relations with producers, contractual agreements and product processing.
The founding rules of the system are defined at an international level and are those of WFTO.
EFTA (European Fair Trade Association)
We are members of the European Fair Trade Association, which brings together 8 fair trade organisations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
The objective of EFTA, the founding of the Association, is to create synergies between countries and organisations and facilitate cooperation in different areas, from the most strictly commercial to the exchange of information and resources. This makes it possible to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of individual activities.
